Suns look to regain winning ways, face Rockets

PHOENIX (Ticker) - The Phoenix Suns look to get back on track Wednesday when they host the Houston Rockets.

The Suns had an eight-game winning streak snapped with a 129-114 loss at Golden State on Monday. Steve Nash did register his sixth straight double-double, collecting 23 points and 13 assists.

Nash, who won back-to-back MVP awards from 2005-06, has been his usual pass-happy self this season, leading the NBA with 11.0 assists per game.

The Rockets have put a six-game losing streak behind them with back-to-back wins. Houston posted a 28-point rout over the Denver Nuggets on Saturday and followed with a 88-71 triumph over the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday.

Tracy McGrady scored 35 points against the Nuggets before posting 36 against the Clippers. McGrady appears to be fully recovered from a shoulder injury which forced him to miss two games earlier this month.
