Pacers look to continue dominance of Trail Blazers

Nov 28, 2007 - 2:28 PM Indiana (7-8) at Portland (5-9) 10:00 pm EST

PORTLAND, Oregon (Ticker) -- The Indiana Pacers try to continue their dominance of the Portland Trial Blazers on Wednesday.

The Pacers have won seven straight against the Trail Blazers by an average of 14.1 points. Portland's last win over Indiana came in overtime on December 3, 2003.

Indiana picked up its third win in four games on Tuesday, holding on for a 112-110 triumph over the Denver Nuggets.

Tuesday's win came without Jermaine O'Neal, who missed his fourth straight game with a sore left knee. O'Neal is averaging 13.2 points and 7.1 rebounds this season.

While the Pacers are red-hot, the Blazers have lost six of their last seven - including an 11-point setback to the Orlando Magic on Monday. Portland managed a season-low 74 points in the loss.

The Blazers average 92.2 points to rank near the bottom of the league.
