Thomas, Knicks look to bounce back from horrific loss

Nov 30, 2007 - 4:10 PM Milwaukee (7-6) at New York (4-10) 7:30 pm EST

NEW YORK (Ticker) - Hopefully a return to Madison Square Garden can get the bad taste out of the mouth of the New York Knicks.

The lackluster Knicks will try to capture their third straight win at home when they welcome in the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.

Nate Robinson led the way with just 11 points off the bench as New York suffered a humiliating 104-59 setback to the Boston Celtics on Thursday.

"We take two steps forward and one giant step back," Knicks coach Isiah Thomas said. "And I don't know where this game came from, I thought we played extremely selfish (Thursday) in terms of no ball movement. We didn't screen for each other.

"We definitely didn't see this type of game coming after the last two games that we played and the way we were playing and moving. This was just not a good night."

The Bucks dropped their second consecutive outing Thursday - a 96-80 loss to the Atlanta Hawks despite 47 combined points from Michael Redd and Mo Williams.

Milwaukee enters with one of the worst records on the road at just 1-5. Its lone win away from the Bradley Center came against the Cleveland Cavaliers last Tuesday.
