Suns visit Knicks

Dec 2, 2007 - 2:15 PM Phoenix (12-4) at New York (5-10) 7:00 pm EST

NEW YORK (Ticker) -- After snapping a brief two-game slide, the Phoenix Suns look for back-to-back wins on Sunday when they visit the New York Knicks.

Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire recorded double-doubles during a 110-106 victory over the Orlando Magic on Friday. Nash scored 15 points and added 14 assists while Stoudemire contributed 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Nash, a two-time MVP, leads the league at 10.9 assists per game.

Stoudemire looks to be fully recovered from soreness in his right knee which forced him to miss three games earlier this season. The 25-year-old center has five double-doubles in 11 games since returning to the lineup.

After an eight-game losing streak, the Knicks have won three of their last four games, including a 91-88 triumph over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.

The win came just one game after New York suffered one of its most embarrassing losses in franchise history during a 104-59 drubbing by the Boston Celtics. A 3-pointer by Nate Robinson from halfcourt at the buzzer was the only thing kept the Knicks from scoring the fewest points in franchise history during the shot-clock era.
