Bulls, Bobcats trying to get on track

Dec 5, 2007 - 2:49 PM Chicago (4-11) at Charlotte (6-10) 7:00 pm EST

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- The Charlotte Bobcats will try to snap a six-game losing streak when they host the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.

After losing their first three games of the slide by a combined seven points, the Bobcats have dropped their last least three by at least 16 points - including a 98-79 setback to the Toronto Raptors on Monday.

Gerald Wallace led Charlotte with 19 points and eight rebounds against the Raptors after missing the previous game with a calf injury. The 25-year-old forward continues to make strides in his sixth NBA season and leads the Bobcats with 18.4 points per game.

The Bulls looked to be turning the corner on their dismal start, winning back-to-back games for the first time this season. However, Chicago quickly returned to form, suffering a 103-98 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.

Andres Nocioni contributed 30 points in the loss and was 6-of-9 from the floor. Nocioni hit 3-of-4 3-pointers and missed just one of 16 free throws while playing over 30 minutes off the bench.

The 28-year-old forward has started just five games this season but is averaging over 27 minutes of playing time.
