Warriors look to get back on track against Bucks

Dec 5, 2007 - 3:09 PM Milwaukee (8-8) at Golden State (9-8) 10:30 pm EST

OAKLAND, California (Ticker) - The Golden State Warriors try to win their first game at home against an Eastern Conference opponent when they host the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday.

The Warriors are 0-3 against Eastern Conference foes at Oracle Arena this season but have faced three of the best in the Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic.

Golden State suffered a 123-117 overtime loss to the Magic on Monday, snapping a six-game win streak.

Despite the loss, Monta Ellis continued his strong play since returning to the starting lineup on November 26, scoring 22 points with 12 rebounds and seven assists. Ellis is averaging 22.2 points while shooting 54 percent from the field over the last five games.

The Bucks snapped a four-game losing streak on Tuesday with a 87-78 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. Milwaukee has failed to score 100 points in any of its last five games - posting a 1-4 record over that span.
