Durant, Sonics seek eighth straight home win over Bucks

Dec 7, 2007 - 3:01 PM Milwaukee (8-9) at Seattle (4-15) 10:30 pm EST

SEATTLE (Ticker) -- The Seattle SuperSonics haven't had much trouble from the struggling Milwaukee Bucks at home recently, and would like to keep it that way.

Rookie Kevin Durant and SuperSonics look to capture their second straight win when they welcome the Bucks on Friday.

Durant poured in 18 points to lead five Sonics in double figures on Wednesday as Seattle came away with a 95-88 win over the slumping Los Angeles Clippers.

The win also saw the return of forward Nick Collison who collected 18 points and a season-best 17 rebounds after missing the last three game with broken nose.

Seattle has been untouchable at home in this series recently, winning seven straight meetings here with its last lost coming on January 29, 2000.

Milwaukee dropped to 1-1 on its five-game tour of the Western Conference with Wednesday's 120-90 setback to the Golden State Warriors despite 24 points from Michael Redd.

"It was frustrating how we played," Redd said. "We played terrible. They were tough on us both offensively and defensively."

The Bucks, who have just one win in their last seven games, are just 2-7 away from the Bradley Center this season - third-worst in the Eastern Conference.
