Wade, Heat conclude six-game road trip at Suns

Dec 10, 2007 - 2:02 PM Miami (5-15) at Phoenix (16-5) 9:00 pm EST

PHOENIX (Ticker) - Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat conclude a six-game road trip Monday with a visit to the Phoenix Suns.

Wade collected 35 points and 10 assists to help the Heat end their second five-game losing streak this season with Sunday's 100-84 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

The win also marked the 1,200th career coaching victory for Pat Riley, who became the fastest in league history to do so in his 1,842 games and moved into third on the all-time list.

"It's those kind of moments that you'll always remember, good and bad," Riley said. "Dwyane thinks I'm extinct, but that's OK. That's what he said to me in there."

Miami is aiming for its second win on this season-high six-game tour of the Western Conference, with 14-time All-Star Shaquille O'Neal averaging just 9.8 points through this stretch.

The Suns return home after posting a 4-1 mark on their five-game road trip which concluded with Saturday's 100-93 stunning setback to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

"Chalk it up as one of the few games we'll lose this year," Suns coach Mike D'Antoni said. "We'll move on and see what else we can do."

Two-time MVP Steve Nash has handed out at least 14 assists in six straight games for Phoenix, which has swept Miami in each of the past two seasons.
