Bosh, Raptors look to end three-game road slide

Dec 11, 2007 - 2:08 PM Toronto (11-10) at Atlanta (10-10) 7:00 pm EST

ATLANTA (Ticker) - The Toronto Raptors attempt to end a three-game road losing streak Tuesday when they visit the Atlanta Hawks.

After missing five games with a strained groin, Chris Bosh returned to the lineup to collect 21 points and 10 rebounds, leading the Raptors to a 93-80 victory over the Houston Rockets on Sunday.

"I wanted to come back when the time was right and I felt the time was right," Bosh said. "It was a big game and a game at home, most importantly. The past two days (the groin) has been pretty good in my workout. I just wanted to come out and give it a go."

Andrea Bargnani also seems ready to return to the court after resting his hyperextended knee for the past four games. He is averaging 11.9 points this season.

On Monday, Josh Smith collected 25 points and 16 boards and Joe Johnson added 24 points as the Hawks ran their winning streak to three games with a 98-87 triumph over the Orlando Magic.

Atlanta has reached 10 victories prior to January for the first time since the 2001-02 campaign.

Toronto and Atlanta split in four meetings last season.
