Jazz look to continue home dominance of Trail Blazers
Dec 11, 2007 - 2:32 PM Portland (8-12) at Utah (13-8) 9:00 pm ESTSALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) - Returning home following a disappointing road trip, the Utah Jazz face the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday.
The Jazz completed a winless three-game road trip with a 125-117 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
However, the Jazz have won their last eight games at home and have won six straight - and 11 of the past 12 - against Portland in Utah.
The Jazz are led by Carlos Boozer, who is averaging 25.1 points and 11.4 rebounds. Point guard Deron Williams also has been huge, averaging 21.2 points and 8.9 assists.
Portland, meanwhile, is coming in on a three-game winning streak. On Sunday, Brandon Roy scored 26 points to lead the Blazers to a 117-113 triumph over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Roy has averaged 25.7 points during the winning. The Blazers have reached at least 105 points in each of their last three games.
