Pistons look to continue winning ways vs. Rockets

Dec 12, 2007 - 4:47 PM Detroit (15-6) at Houston (11-11) 8:00 pm EST

HOUSTON (Ticker) -- Chauncey Billups and the Detroit Pistons look to continue their winning ways when they visit the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.

The Pistons have won seven of their last eight games, all by at least 10 points. Detroit is averaging 106.8 points per game over that span and is 10-0 when scoring over 100 points this season.

Billups scored 28 points and added 14 assists as Detroit won its second consecutive game with a 113-103 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday.

The Rockets may have a hard time derailing the Pistons, as leading scorer Tracy McGrady is listed as questionable for the game.

McGrady, who is averaging 24.6 points and 5.5 assists, sprained his right ankle during a 100-88 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.

McGrady won't be the only player on the sidelines, joining starting point guard Rafer Alston, who has missed the last two games with a groin injury.

The Rockets have struggled offensively this season, averaging just 94.9 points, and have been held below 90 points during their last two games for the first time this campaign.
