Celtics look to remain unbeaten at home against Bucks

Dec 14, 2007 - 3:40 PM Milwaukee (9-12) at Boston (18-2) 7:30 pm EST

BOSTON (Ticker) - Just 20 games into the season, the Boston Celtics are just one home win away from matching their total from all of last season.

The Celtics will look to win their 12th straight game at home to begin the season when they host the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.

At 11-0, Boston can match last season's 12-29 record at home with one more victory. The Celtics didn't win their 12th home game until game No. 73 of last season.

The Celtics have won 10 of their home games by double digits and the only other time a Celtics team began 12-0 at home was the 1984-85 season.

Boston's "Big Three" are the only players averaging in double figures for the Celtics - who have won seven consecutive games - with Paul Pierce leading the way at 20.5 points per game.

Milwaukee snapped a four-game losing streak - all on the road - with a 100-88 home victory over Orlando on Wednesday.

Michael Redd had 27 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in the Bucks' victory and leads the team in scoring, averaging 24.1 points per game.

The two teams split the four meetings last season.
