James, Iguodala set to battle as Cavs host 76ers

Dec 15, 2007 - 3:08 PM Philadelphia (9-14) at Cleveland (10-13) 7:30 pm EST

CLEVELAND (Ticker) - The Cleveland Cavaliers hope a return to the Quicken Loans Arena can cure their recent struggles.

Cleveland looks to bounce back on Saturday when they host the Philadelphia 76ers.

Despite having superstar LeBron James back in the starting lineup, the Cavaliers still came up short, 105-97, against the New Jersey Nets on the road on Friday.

Cleveland has lost seven of its last eight games - five of those losses came with the 6-8 James sidelined with a sprained left index finger.

James should been challenged by Sixers swingman Andre Iguodala, whose rare athletic ability almost mirrors the 23-year-old James in many regards.

Andre Miller scored 24 points and Iguodala added 15 and three steals as Philadelphia watched its season-high four-game winning streak come to an end, 109-99, at the hands of Sacramento.

"Our defensive presence wasn't really there," 76ers guard Willie Green said. "We didn't stop guys. They were getting dunks, layups and easy jumpers. Anytime a team does that, it is going to tough to win."

The Sixers took just one of four meetings in the season series last campaign, but their lone win came here on January 24 behind Iguodala's 34-point outburst.
