Suns seeking seventh straight win against Hornets

NEW ORLEANS (Ticker) -- The Phoenix Suns go for their seventh straight win against the New Orleans Hornets on Saturday.

The Suns haven't faced the Hornets this season, but have won six consecutive road games in the series and 11 of their last 12 overall. Phoenix has held New Orleans below 100 points in 11 games over that span, but are allowing 104.7 points per game this season - fifth worst in the NBA.

The Suns have been red-hot on the road this campaign, posting a 10-3 record away from U.S. Airways Center despite losing to the Timberwolves in Minnesota last Saturday.

After suffering its second straight setback to the Miami Heat on Monday, Phoenix snapped its brief slide with a 103-98 victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday - allowing less then 100 points for the first time in 10 games.

New Orleans returns home on Saturday after dropping their last two games on the road to the Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks.

The Hornets improved to 6-5 at New Orleans Arena this season after winning three of its last four during a four-game homestand last week.
