Pacers look to continue Heat's home woes

Dec 15, 2007 - 3:53 PM Indiana (11-12) at Miami (6-16) 7:30 pm EST

MIAMI (Ticker) - If there is a homecourt advantage in the NBA, the Miami Heat have had a hard time finding it this season.

Indiana faces Miami on Saturday, hoping to continue the Heat's recent home woes.

Miami has posted just a 2-7 record at home this season, better only than the Minnesota Timberwolves who are just 2-9 on their home floor.

The Heat are coming off a 104-91 loss at home to Washington on Thursday as all five Wizards starters scored in double figures. Chris Quinn scored a career-high 22 points as Miami's modest two-game winning streak ended.

Udonis Haslem had 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Heat. Dwyane Wade scored 17 points and Ricky Davis 16 for Miami as Shaquille O'Neal finished with only seven points on 3-for-6 shooting in 26 minutes.

Mike Dunleavy scored 23 points and Jamaal Tinsley added 19 points and 10 assists for the Pacers in a 104-93 loss at home to Toronto on Friday.

The teams split four games last season. Indiana defeated visiting Miami, 87-85, on November 2 as Danny Granger had 25 points and nine rebounds. The Heat have not won a season series against the Pacers since the 2000-01 campaign.
