Raptors continue road trip against Suns
Dec 22, 2007 - 3:06 PM Toronto (15-13) at Phoenix (18-8) 9:00 pm ESTPHOENIX (Ticker) - The Toronto Raptors continue their season-long seven-game road trip when they visit the Phoenix Suns on Saturday.
Toronto is 1-2 on the trip so far after suffering a 123-115 loss to Seattle on Friday.
Chris Bosh has a double-double in six of his last eight games, including a 26-point, 13-rebound performance against the SuperSonics. Jose Calderon added 15 points and 16 assists in the loss.
Though leading the Pacific Division, Phoenix has lost four of its past six, including a 108-105 setback at Dallas on Wednesday.
The Suns have six players averaging in double figures, led by Amare Stoudamire's 20.7 points. Steve Nash is scoring 17.7 points per game while handing out a league-leading 12.2 assists per contest.
Nash has recorded double-digit assist games in 10 of his last 11 contests and is averaging 14.4 assists in the month of December.
Phoenix won the first meeting, 136-123, at Toronto on December 5 and has won the last seven contests with the Raptors overall. The Suns have swept the last three season series.
