Parker, Spurs aim to continue home streak vs. Raptors

Dec 28, 2007 - 3:53 PM Toronto (15-14) at San Antonio (20-7) 8:30 pm EST

SAN ANTONIO (Ticker) - Tony Parker and the San Antonio Spurs continue to make their homecourt unpleasant to visitors.

Parker and the Spurs aim for continued home success against the Toronto Raptors on Friday.

San Antonio defeated Chicago, 94-79, on Wednesday for its second consecutive win at the AT&T Center and 15th win in 16 games here. Parker scored 28 points for the Spurs, who played without the services of sixth-man supreme Manu Ginobili, who sat out due to a sprained left index finger.

Even if Ginobili is not ready Friday, San Antonio has usually handled Toronto, winning five straight in the series as well as six straight wins at home.

The Raptors fell to 1-3 on their season-high seven-game road trip after falling, 122-103, to Phoenix on Saturday. Chris Bosh scored a career-high 42 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for Toronto, which is 6-17 all-time vs. San Antonio.
