Howard, Magic aim for third consective win

Dec 29, 2007 - 2:51 PM Charlotte (10-17) at Orlando (20-11) 7:00 pm EST

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) - The Orlando Magic look for their third straight win on Saturday when the lowly Charlotte Bobcats come calling.

Dwight Howard dominated the paint once again with 29 points and 21 rebounds in helping coach Stan Van Grundy defeat his former team on Friday in a 121-114 overtime victory against the Miami Heat.

The 22-year-old leads the league in double-doubles with 28 this season.

Howard also will get a chance to battle against Emeka Okafor, who was selected right behind the 7-footer as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2004 draft.

Howard won the most recent battle between the players on December 14 as he posted 33 points, 18 boards and four blocks compared to Okafor's 16 points and 12 assists. Orlando won that meeting by a 103-87 count.

Jason Richardson netted 25 points and Okafor and Nazr Mohammed both registered double-doubles in Friday's 99-85 loss to the New Orleans Hornets.

"We're not aggressive. We're too laid back," Bobcats swingman Gerald Wallace said. "We're not a good enough team to play like that."
