Knicks face Bulls at MSG

Dec 30, 2007 - 2:00 PM Chicago (10-17) at New York (8-20) 12:00 pm EST

NEW YORK (Ticker) -- The New York Knicks look to snap a three-game losing streak Sunday when they face the Chicago Bulls.

New York has lost nine of its last 11 games overall and is in last place in the Atlantic Division.

On Sunday, there also is a chance for another circus-like atmosphere at Madison Square Garden. There has been speculation that fans are planning a walkout following the third quarter to send a message to management that they want Knicks coach Isiah Thomas fired.

The Bulls also have been a huge disappointment. Their struggles led to coach Scott Skiles being fired Monday.

"I felt like something was going to happen," forward Luol Deng said. "I didn't know whether it was players or coaches. But you could definitely feel there was something. It just didn't seem like we were on the same page."

Jim Boylan was promoted on Thursday to the position of interim coach for the remainder of the season. In Boylan's first game, the Bulls posted a 103-99 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.

The teams have split a pair of games this season, each winning at home.
