Korver faces former team as Jazz host 76ers
Jan 2, 2008 - 2:31 PM Philadelphia (14-16) at Utah (17-16) 9:00 pm ESTSALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- Kyle Korver meets his former team when the Utah Jazz host the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.
On Saturday, the Jazz acquired Korver from the 76ers for guard Gordan Giricek. Philadelphia also received a protected first-round draft selection in the deal.
In his first game for his new team, Korver came off the bench to score 10 points as the Jazz snapped the Portland Trail Blazers' 10-game winning streak with a 111-101 triumph on Monday.
Utah has not won consecutive games since winning three straight from November 28-December 3. The Jazz are an impressive 11-3 at home.
The 76ers have won four of five overall and are 2-1 on a six-game road trip.
Andre Iguodala scored 25 points and reserve Louis Williams added 19, leading the Sixers to a 98-90 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics on Monday.
