Hornets look to keep rolling against Warriors

Jan 4, 2008 - 2:26 PM New Orleans (21-11) at Golden State (19-14) 10:30 pm EST

OAKLAND, California (Ticker) - The New Orleans Hornets look to continue their winning ways on Friday when they visit the Golden State Warriors.

Chris Paul, David West and Tyson Chandler all logged double-doubles on Wednesday as the Hornets topped the Los Angeles Clippers by a 95-81 count.

West led the way in the victory, scoring 29 points and pulling down 10 rebounds, while Paul added 16 points and 13 assists. Chandler scored 14 and grabbing 15 boards as New Orleans won for the sixth time in seven games.

West has been on fire lately, booking double-doubles in each of his last four games. The 27-year-old forward is averaging 19.3 points and 9.6 rebounds this season.

Golden State is looking to bounce back from a 121-99 setback to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.

The Warriors, who upset the top-seeded Mavericks as the No. 8 seed in the first round of last season's playoffs, couldn't slow the Dallas offense during the game. Golden State allowed the Mavericks to shoot 53.7 percent from the floor, including 8-of-16 from 3-point range.
