Magic look to get back on track vs. Jazz

Jan 12, 2008 - 4:01 PM Orlando (23-15) at Utah (20-17) 9:00 pm EST

SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) - The Orlando Magic haven't been playing like an Eastern Conference contender lately.

The Magic look to get back to their winning ways on Saturday when they visit the Utah Jazz.

Orlando, which leads the Southeast Division by three games, has dropped four of its last five following a four-game winning streak.

The Magic couldn't get back on track during their last game, suffering a 113-103 setback against the Denver Nuggets on Friday. The loss was just Orlando's seventh in 23 road games this season.

Dwight Howard scored 20 points and added 13 rebounds for the Magic, logging his third straight double-double. Howard, who leads the NBA with 33 double-doubles this season, has booked 18 in his last 20, including a span of 15 straight.

The Jazz are in the opposite situation of the Magic, having won four of their last five games and two in a row.

Utah picked up its second straight win on Thursday, posting a 108-86 victory over the Phoenix Suns.

Mehmet Okur scored 22 points and grabbed 17 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season against the Suns. Okur, who is averaging just 12.3 points and 5.4 rebounds this campaign, has struggled this season after averaging 17.6 points and 7.2 boards in 2006-07.
