NBA Note - Orlando Magic Speights, Marreese

Jul 28, 2017 - 2:48 AM C Marreese Speights, a first-round pick in 2008, agreed to a one-year, $2.1 million contract with the Magic, the Orlando Sentinel reported Thursday. Speights declined his $2.1 million player option for the 2017-18 season with the Clippers and became an unrestricted free agent. He played in all 82 games for the Clippers last season and averaged 8.7 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting 37.2 percent from 3-point range.
