Jazz look to complete unbeaten homestand against Bucks

Jan 14, 2008 - 3:04 PM Milwaukee (15-22) at Utah (21-17) 9:00 pm EST

SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) - Home has been quite sweet for the Utah Jazz, who can complete a perfect four-game homestand on Monday against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Jazz are 15-3 at home, winning by an average of 16.8 points. The Bucks are 5-17 on the road and have dropped the first two road games of their three-game Western Conference trip.

Utah has beaten Milwaukee five consecutive times at home.

The Jazz have seven of their last eight games at home and five straight, including a 119-115 victory over Orlando on Saturday.

"We struggled at times during the game defending people, but they had a tough lineup out there," Utah point guard Deron Williams said. "They're a little smaller, and they're quick."

The Jazz are healthier than they have been in a while. Andrei Kirilenko returned after missing three games with a bad back and finished with 16 points, eight assists and seven rebounds against the Magic. Mehmet Okur, out for seven games in December with a strained shoulder, has scored 51 points and pulled down 25 rebounds in the last two games.

Michael Redd, the Bucks' leading scorer at 23.2 points per game, averaged 37.5 points in a pair of losses to Utah last season. Redd scored a career-high 57 points in a two-point loss to the Jazz on November 11, 2006.
