Magic return home to face struggling Bulls

Jan 15, 2008 - 2:09 PM Chicago (14-21) at Orlando (23-16) 7:00 pm EST

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- Success has been hard to come at Amway Arena for the Orlando Magic. After their latest road trip, however, they may be happy to be back home.

The Magic look to get back to .500 at home when they host the struggling Chicago Bulls on Tuesday.

Orlando finished 1-3 on a four-game West Coast trip that ended with a 119-115 loss to the Utah Jazz on Saturday. Dwight Howard had 29 points and 15 rebounds, but could not prevent the team's fifth loss in six games.

The Magic, who are just 7-8 at home compared to 16-8 on the road, will be looking to pick up their first win of 2008 at Amway against a team that has defeated them in six of the last seven meetings in Florida.

Orlando, however, already owns a 112-110 overtime win over the Bulls on December 31 in Chicago.

The Bulls, who made news late last week when the team voted to extend rookie forward Joakim Noah's suspension for arguing with assistant coach Ron Adams in practice on Friday, are coming off a 105-84 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.

Luol Deng, who returned from a three-game absence due to a sore Achilles' tendon, scored 28 points for Chicago, which has alternated wins and losses in its last eight games.
