Wizards seek fourth straight win

Jan 15, 2008 - 2:21 PM Washington (20-16) at New York (10-26) 7:30 pm EST

NEW YORK (Ticker) - The Washington Wizards aim for their fourth straight win as they visit the lowly New York Knicks on Tuesday.

On Monday, the Wizards beat the league-beating Boston Celtics for the second time in three nights, 88-83. Caron Butler scored 21 points and Antawn Jamison had 20 and 10 rebounds for Washington, which is 9-8 on the road.

"Our eyes are on winning a championship," Butler said. "Hopefully we get Gilbert (Arenas) back by March and when he comes back we will be even more dangerous."

The Knicks are coming off their most impressive win of the season, an 89-65 rout of the Detroit Pistons on Sunday.

New York guard Stephon Marbury will miss at least two more contests with a left ankle which could require surgery.

Washington and New York split four meetings last season.
