Suns look to continue domination of Clippers

Jan 15, 2008 - 4:41 PM Phoenix (26-11) at LA Clippers (10-23) 10:30 pm EST

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Despite feeling the lingering effects of a flu that forced him to miss a game, Steve Nash still had his best offensive game of the season in the Phoenix Suns' latest victory.

Nash and the Suns target their fourth win in five games when they meet the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.

In winning its seventh contest in nine tries, Phoenix received 35 points from Nash in a 122-114 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. Amare Stoudemire added 31 points while Boris Diaw, who started in place of Grant Hill (appendectomy), added a season-high 21 and 11 rebounds.

The Clippers are coming off Saturday's 95-94 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

Los Angeles has lost all three meetings this season and 17 of its last 22 against Phoenix.
