Warriors look to complete season sweep of Pacers
Jan 16, 2008 - 1:58 PM Golden State (23-16) at Indiana (17-22) 7:00 pm ESTINDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) - The Indiana Pacers hope to avoid a season sweep at the hands of the Golden State Warriors when the teams meet Wednesday.
It is the second time in four days that the teams are meeting. On Sunday, the Warriors rallied for a 106-101 victory over the Pacers.
Returning home after a 1-4 road trip, the Pacers have lost nine of their last 11 games overall.
The Warriors opened a four-game, five-day road trip Tuesday with a 105-98 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. With the win, Golden State moved seven games over .500 for the first time since 1993-94.
Golden State has won three straight and four of its last five games.
