Bibby expected back for Kings

TORONTO (Ticker) - Mike Bibby is expected to make his season debut Wednesday when the Sacramento Kings visit the Toronto Raptors.

Bibby has missed the first 36 games after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb in October. Last season, the point guard averaged 17.1 points and 4.7 assists while playing in all 82 games for a second straight campaign.

The Kings also are happy to have guard Kevin Martin back. Martin, who missed 17 games earlier this campaign with a groin injury, has scored 64 points on 21-of-25 shooting in two games since returning to the lineup.

Martin scored 39 points Monday, leading the Kings to a 122-120 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

Toronto had its three-game winning streak stopped with a 103-89 loss to the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday. After two big games in which he totaled 78 points, Chris Bosh was limited to 16 against the Pistons.
