Pistons, Bulls look to bounce back

Jan 19, 2008 - 3:40 PM Detroit (29-11) at Chicago (15-23) 8:30 pm EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) - The Detroit Pistons look to bounce back when they begin a three-game road trip against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday.

Chauncey Billups barely missed a triple-double with 28 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds but he was unable to lift Detroit past the Sacramento Kings, who earned a 100-93 win on Friday.

"We didn't move the ball," Pistons coach Flip Saunders said. "When things go bad we start to hold the ball and lock it up on one side."

Detroit will be seeking its first victory of the season over Chicago, which held on for a 97-93 win at the United Center on November 8.

The Bulls also enter with the hopes of rebounding following a 119-111 setback to the Golden State Warriors despite getting 57 points off the bench from Ben Gordon and Andres Nocioni.

Chicago's Thabo Sefolosha should draw the tough assignment of defending guard Richard Hamilton, who is averaging 21.0 points through the first two meeting in the series this season.

Former Detroit big man Ben Wallace owns an impressive 6-1 mark over the Central Division-leading Pistons since leaving the club following the 2005-06 campaign.
