Warriors aim to continue success against Timberwolves

OAKLAND, California (Ticker) -- Following a successful road trip, the Golden State Warriors return home to face the league-worst Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday.

Continuing to turn things around after an 0-6 start, the Warriors completed a 3-1 road trip with a dominating 119-99 rout of the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night.

Included in the the Warriors' road trip was a 105-98 victory over the Timberwolves on Tuesday. Baron Davis had 22 points, nine assists and a season-high five steals to pace the Warriors.

Golden State has beaten Minnesota three times this season, including a 105-101 triumph here on December 26.

It has been a season-long struggle for the Timberwolves, who have lost five straight games and are an abysmal 1-20 on the road.

The Timberwolves were competitive virtually the entire way before dropping a 111-108 decision to the Denver Nuggets on Saturday. Rashad McCants scored 23 points and Al Jefferson grabbed 16 rebounds to pace the Wolves.
