76ers aim for third win in four games
Jan 21, 2008 - 2:27 PM Indiana (18-23) at Philadelphia (16-25) 2:00 pm ESTPHILADELPHIA (Ticker) - The Philadelphia 76ers will look for their third win in four games Monday when they face the Indiana Pacers.
The Sixers had lost seven straight games before their recent mini-surge. They are coming off Saturday's 99-95 victory over the Toronto Raptors.
Philadelphia dropped its first game of the three-game season series with the Pacers, 102-85, in Indiana on December 19. Marquis Daniels came off the bench to score 26 points to lead the way for Indiana.
"It was just a case of our offense going flat," Sixers' coach Maurice Cheeks said after that game. "Our offense didn't score the ball."
Indiana, which has lost 10 of its last 13 games, is coming off a 110-104 setback to the Sacramento Kings on Saturday.
