Stoudamire, Suns look to complete season sweep of Bucks

Jan 22, 2008 - 2:12 PM Phoenix (29-12) at Milwaukee (16-25) 8:00 pm EST

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- The Phoenix Suns look for their fourth straight win in the opener of a four-game road trip against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.

Amare Stoudemire collected 28 points and nine rebounds to lead Phoenix to an easy 116-92 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Sunday.

"I don't judge us on how many shots we make," Suns guard Steve Nash said. "It's just a matter of how much energy we bring. We played with consistent energy the last three games. That's important."

While Stoudemire had his way last time out, he should be challenged by Milwaukee center Andrew Bogut, who enters with six consecutive double-doubles.

The Bucks are coming off their sixth setback in seven games after Monday's 106-92 loss at New Orleans despite having four players in double figures.

Bucks rookie Yi Jianlian continues to struggle with consistency, scoring in double digits only five times this month. The 6-11 forward was taken sixth overall in June's draft.

Phoenix aims for its second straight season series sweep of the Bucks, who are just 2-5 at the Bradley Center against the Suns since the 2000-01 campaign.
