Pistons look to snap three-game slide

Jan 23, 2008 - 2:23 PM Detroit (29-13) at Philadelphia (16-26) 7:00 pm EST

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The Detroit Pistons will try to end their three-game road trip on a positive note when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.

The Pistons remained winless on their brief road swing with Monday's heartbreaking 102-100 setback to the Orlando Magic on Rashard Lewis' game-winning jumper at the buzzer.

"When you don't play well, it takes some time to get back to playing the way we were," Detroit coach Flip Saunders said. "But you can live with guys going out and competing. There are a few things we didn't execute well at times, but we'll clean those up."

Detroit aims to avoid its first four-game slide since the 2004-05 season.

In the first meeting against Philadelphia, Tayshaun Prince had 15 points to lead all Detroit starters in double figures in an 83-78 victory November 23.

The Sixers are also hoping to bounce back after coming up short at home to the Indiana Pacers, who registered a 110-103 victory on Monday. Andre Iguodala scored 23 points for the 76ers.
