Mavericks look to end road woes vs. Bobcats
Jan 23, 2008 - 2:28 PM Dallas (27-13) at Charlotte (16-25) 7:00 pm ESTCHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- The Dallas Mavericks own one of the league's best home records. But that success has not translated to the road so far this season.
The Mavericks hope to end a two-game road losing streak and get back to the .500 mark away from home when they visit the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday.
Despite going 18-3 at home, Dallas is just 9-10 on the road and suffered its worst loss of the season, a 102-84 setback at Washington on Monday. Josh Howard led the Mavericks with 32 points in the contest.
However, Dallas has won all six meetings with the Bobcats and is 3-0 in Charlotte all-time.
The Bobcats had their season-high three-game home winning streak snapped Monday with a 95-86 loss to San Antonio.
Emeka Okafor led the way for Charlotte with 21 points and 10 rebounds, his highest scoring game since scoring 25 on December 12 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Dallas is one of two teams in the league that the Bobcats do not have a victory against in their franchise history, with the Phoenix Suns being the other.
