Bucks look to snap slide against struggling Pacers

Jan 24, 2008 - 2:54 PM Indiana (19-24) at Milwaukee (16-26) 8:00 pm EST

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- The Milwaukee Bucks look to snap a three-game slide when they host the Indiana Pacers on Thursday.

The Bucks have lost six of their last seven games to fall into last place in the Central Division.

Milwaukee dropped a 114-105 decision to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday despite holding a nine-point lead midway through the fourth quarter.

Michael Redd scored 28 points in the setback but had just two points in the fourth quarter.

Milwaukee has allowed at least 106 points in each of its last three losses and ranks second in the Eastern Conference in points allowed at 101.2 per contest.

The good news Thursday is that the one team worst on defense in the East is the Pacers, who yield 105.1 points per game. Indiana has allowed over 100 points in each of its last nine games.

The Pacers suffered a 108-95 setback at Chicago on Wednesday despite 33 points from Danny Granger. Indiana shot just 39 percent (32-of-83) in the loss, with Mike Dunleavy going 2-of-12 for just 10 points.
