Bucks aim for consecutive wins vs. Raptors

Jan 25, 2008 - 3:30 PM Milwaukee (17-26) at Toronto (23-19) 7:00 pm EST

TORONTO (Ticker) -- The Milwaukee Bucks will try to build off their recent success Friday when they visit the Toronto Raptors.

The Bucks put an end to their three-game slide Thursday when sharpshooter Michael Redd scored 37 points to help down the Indiana Pacers, 104-92.

"That might be the way we have to play the rest of the year, fast, up-tempo, keep pushing it, within sense," Redd said. "It was different (Thursday). It wasn't so much slow. Just playing in transition."

Milwaukee center Andrew Bogut saw his five-game double-double streak come to and end with 17 points and seven rebounds. But the former No. 1 draft pick is averaging close to a double-double through eight career games against Toronto.

In the first meeting on November 6, the Bucks got six players to finish in double figures for a convincing 112-85 triumph over the Raptors, who failed to have one single starter in double figures.

Toronto came up huge last time out with Wednesday's 114-112 road victory over the Eastern-Conference leading Boston Celtics. Jose Calderon carried the load with 24 points and 13 assists.

"It was really important to beat them - so we could see if we could," Calderon said. "We knew how to play them after already playing them three times."
