Sixers aim to snap three-game skid vs. Bobcats

Jan 26, 2008 - 2:52 PM Philadelphia (16-28) at Charlotte (17-26) 7:00 pm EST

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) - Andre Iguodala and the Philadelphia 76ers aim to snap a three-game slide on Saturday against the Charlotte Bobcats.

Philadelphia, which has lost nine of its last 11 games, is coming off a 89-81 loss to New York on Friday in which it scored just one point in the final 4:59 of the contest.

Iguodala led the way with 24 points and six rebounds, but missed a key free throw late that would have tied the game at 82-82.

The fourth-year swingman will try redeem himself against the Bobcats, who posted a 90-77 win over a shorthanded Chicago Bulls team on Friday.

Emeka Okafor scored 21 points and 16 rebounds to lead Charlotte past Chicago, which was playing without guard Ben Gordon and forward Luol Deng. It was just the third road win of the season for Charlotte, which is 14-13 here.

The Bobcats would like to get some revenge for a lopsided 94-63 loss in Philadelphia on November 7.
