Knicks begin five-game road trip, visit Warriors

OAKLAND, California (Ticker) - The New York Knicks open a five-game road trip when they visit the Golden State Warriors on Sunday.

New York has played better of late, winning five of its last seven contests, including an 89-81 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.

Zach Randolph has posted three straight double-doubles and had 16 points and 15 rebounds in Friday's win. The burly power forward is averaging 18.7 points and 14.7 rebounds over that span.

The Warriors are coming off a 121-119 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Thursday. Golden State, one of the league's highest-scoring teams, has reached 100 points in eight straight games.

Baron Davis had his eighth career triple-double with 25 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, while Monta Ellis scored a career-high 39 points in the win over New Jersey.

Golden State coasted to a 108-82 rout of the New York on November 20. The Warriors have won five straight at home over the Knicks.
