Reeling Heat visit first-place Magic

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) - Coming off their latest embarrassing effort, the Miami Heat visit the Orlando Magic on Wednesday.

After snapping a 15-game losing streak Saturday, the Heat returned to their losing ways Tuesday as they endured a 117-87 home beating at the hands of the shorthanded Boston Celtics. Boston played without two of its top players in Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen.

"I'm embarrassed by the effort," Heat coach Pat Riley said. "It's almost as though the ending of the losing streak pulled the plug, because we didn't bring anything."

Now Miami heads on the road where it has lost seven straight and is 4-17 overall.

The Southeast-leading Magic have won four of their last five games. They are coming off Sunday's 96-93 win over Boston.

Orlando has won both meetings from Miami this season.
