Road-weary Kings look forward to long homestand

SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) - The Sacramento Kings return home Wednesday to face the Charlotte Bobcats.

Sacramento has played six of its last seven games away from Arco Arena, going 4-3 during that span. The Kings are opening a five-game homestand with this contest.

Kevin Martin made the game-winning shot as time expired and scored 26 points, leading the Kings to a 103-101 win over the Seattle SuperSonics on Sunday.

While the Kings are happy to be home, the Bobcats are playing the the second of a five-game road trip.

Charlotte, which is 4-13 on the road, opened the trek with a 107-100 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday. Gerald Wallace had 23 points and eight assists to lead the way.
