Nuggets officially re-sign C Plumlee

Sep 20, 2017 - 5:22 PM The Denver Nuggets officially re-signed restricted free agent center Mason Plumlee to a three-year contract Wednesday.

Terms were not disclosed by the team, but the deal is worth $41 million, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Monday.

Acquired in a trade with the Portland Trail Blazers on Feb. 13, the 6-foot-11, 255-pound Plumlee appeared in 27 games (10 starts) for Denver last season, averaging 9.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 blocks in 23.4 minutes per contest.

Over four NBA seasons, the 27-year-old Plumlee appeared in 315 career games (213 starts) for Brooklyn, Portland and Denver, averaging 9.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 23.0 minutes.

Plumlee, who was the 22nd overall pick of the Brooklyn Nets in the 2013 draft out of Duke, won a Gold Medal alongside Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried at the FIBA World Cup with Team USA in 2014.
