Rockets aim for seventh straight win over lowly Bucks

Feb 2, 2008 - 3:37 PM Houston (26-20) at Milwaukee (18-29) 8:30 pm EST

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) - The Houston Rockets haven't received much of a challenge from the Milwaukee Bucks recently and they hope to continue that trend on Saturday.

Houston swept the season series from Milwaukee the pervious two campaigns and will try to make it three straight seasons with a win Saturday.

In the first meeting, Yao Ming had 28 points and 10 rebounds to help the Rockets post a convincing 104-88 victory at the Toyota Center on November 9.

The initial meeting saw two of China's top imports in Yao and Milwaukee rookie Yi Jianlian, who had 19 points and nine boards in the loss.

Taken sixth overall in June's draft, the 6-11 Yi will be seeking his first double-figure performance since January 19 against the Golden State Warriors.

Considered by many as China's version of the Super Bowl, the game will be carried on 19 different networks throughout the country this time around.

"It's a very special game for Chinese fans," Yao said. "I'm excited that so many people are going to be watching us on the morning of the Super Bowl."

Second-rounder Carl Landry scored 22 points in his coming out party as Houston held on for a 106-103 win over the Indiana Pacers on Friday.
