Wizards aim to end three-game slide

Feb 5, 2008 - 3:32 PM Washington (24-22) at Philadelphia (18-29) 7:00 pm EST

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) - The Washington Wizards look to end their three-game losing streak when the Philadelphia 76ers pay a visit on Thursday.

Last time out, All-Star Antawn Jamison collected his 27th double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds but Washington came up short in Sunday's 103-91 decision to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Despite the loss, the Wizards welcomed back Caron Bulter to the lineup after missing the previous three games due to a hip injury. He scored 15 points on 5-of-15 shooting.

In their first meeting, Andray Blatche poured in 26 points to lead five others in double figures to help Washington posted a 116-101 victory on November 20.

Philadelphia hopes to bounce back after dropping a tough 96-91 decision to the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, wasting Andre Miller's season-high 29 points.

76ers swingman Andre Iguodala should drew the assignment of guarding Bulter, whose averaging just 15.3 points through 16 career meeting when facing the 76ers.

The 6-6 Iguodala hasn't fared that well against Washington either, averaging 13.8 points while shooting under 40 percent in 12 lifetime matchups.
