Kings sign journeyman G Williams
Sep 26, 2017 - 7:27 PM The Sacramento Kings signed guard Marcus Williams to a contract, the team announced Tuesday.Terms of the deal were not disclosed for Williams, who has competed in Puerto Rico, Russia, China, Spain and Serbia since playing for the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2009-10 season.
Williams, 31, averaged 5.6 points, 2.8 assists and 1.8 rebounds per game in his career with the Nets, Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors since being selected with the 12th overall pick of the 2006 draft by then-New Jersey.
Williams earned NBA second-team All-Rookie honors with the Nets in 2006-07.
