Jazz face Bulls looking to begin new win streak

Feb 9, 2008 - 12:36 PM Chicago (20-29) at Utah (32-19) 9:00 pm EST

SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) - The Utah Jazz begin the quest for another win streak on Saturday when they host the Chicago Bulls.

The Jazz had a season-high 10-game win streak snapped on Friday, suffering a 117-104 setback to the Sacramento Kings. Carlos Boozer collected 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Utah, which fell to 11-16 on the road.

Despite the loss, Utah still holds a one-game lead over the Denver Nuggets for first place in the Northwest Division, after vaulting into the top-spot on the strength of their recent hot streak.

The Bulls close out a six-game road trip against the Jazz and are seeking their second straight victory after posting a 114-108 triumph against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday.

Chris Duhon had a career-high 34 points and nine assists against the Warriors. Duhon helped pick up the offense in place of Ben Gordon, Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich - all missed Thursday's game due to injury.

Gordon might be able to play on Saturday despite a sprained right wrist while Hinrich is listed as doubtful with bruised ribs. Deng did not even travel with the team on the road trip in order to rest his sore left Achilles' tendon.
