NBA Note - Philadelphia 76ers Embiid, Joel

Oct 9, 2017 - 4:00 AM C Joel Embiid was cleared for practice Thursday and looked strong in five-on-five drills. Embiid had surgery on his left knee to repair a torn meniscus on March 24. He told philly.com he was a little out of sync despite moving well and not having any limitations placed on him. He played in only 31 games last season after missing the previous two seasons because of surgeries on his right foot. In his only season at Kansas, Embiid suffered a stress fracture that prevented him from playing in the Big 12 and NCAA tournaments.
