Surging Hornets clash with slumping Bucks

Feb 13, 2008 - 11:24 AM New Orleans (35-15) at Milwaukee (19-33) 8:00 pm EST

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) - The New Orleans Hornets look for their fourth straight win before the All-Star break, facing the slumping Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.

The Hornets improved to 18-7 on the road with a 100-86 victory at Chicago on Tuesday. Although guard Morris Peterson missed his second straight game with back spasms, Peja Stojakovic, David West and Chris Paul combined for 79 points for New Orleans.

The Bucks have lost six of seven games, including a season-high three straight at home. Milwaukee is coming off a 96-89 home loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday.

"I'm not going to sugarcoat it," Bucks coach Larry Krystkowiak said. "We've got some agendas creeping in. Good teams don't have that. I'd be lying to say we're not down. There's no doubt about that. It's easy to start separating and it's happening. We need to put an end to it."

The game will be the second and last meeting between the teams. New Orleans won the previous meeting at home, 106-92, on January 21.
