Trail Blazers look to get back on track vs. Kings
Feb 19, 2008 - 3:11 PM Sacramento (23-28) at Portland (28-24) 10:00 pm ESTPORTLAND, Oregon (Ticker) - The Portland Trail Blazers hope a trip back home can get them back on track when they host the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night.
The Blazers failed to win on their four-game road trip before the All-Star break. Brandon Roy scored 25 points and handed out six assists but the club still suffered a 96-76 setback to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.
Due to its recent struggles, Portland has fallen four games out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Blazers, however, do own a 20-6 record at home this season.
Roy leads the club with 19.7 points and 5.8 assists per game this season.
The Kings are also struggling, losing their last three contests and four of their previous five games.
Ron Artest scored 30 points Wednesday, but Sacramento still suffered an 89-87 loss to the Houston Rockets.
The Kings are just 7-18 on the road this season.
