With winning streak over, Pistons to face Bucks
Feb 20, 2008 - 11:57 AM Detroit (39-14) at Milwaukee (19-34) 8:00 pm ESTMILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- The first half of the season was forgettable for the Milwaukee Bucks, who open the second half against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday.
The Bucks lost seven of their last eight games before the All-Star break, including the last three games at home.
Milwaukee was 8-8 through its first 16 games, but is 11-26 since and finished the first half of the season in last place in the Central Division.
The Pistons ended the first half with a 10-game winning streak, but dropped a 103-85 decision at home to Orlando on Tuesday. The Magic had been the last team to beat Detroit, winning 102-100 at home on January 21.
Orlando, which hit 13-of-20 3-pointers, outscored Detroit, 63-37, in the middle two periods.
The Pistons have won the first two games of the four-game season series, including a 114-69 rout of the Bucks on New Year's Eve. The teams will play for the final time this season at Detroit on Friday.
